In partnership with the Royal Borough’s Social Services, Bridgewater Housing is helping to free hospital bed spaces by offering short-term intermediary care in the community to people who are ready to be discharged from hospital but are not quite ready to return home and live independently. Respite care is also available to individuals whose families need a break from the day-to-day strain of caring for relatives. Intermediary and respite care is available at Lady Elizabeth House and Christian Smith House with Social services providing all the care and support.
