Affordable Rented Properties
Maidenhead and District Housing Association operates in five counties in the south east of England. Homes are allocated to people nominated by local authorities and people on our own waiting list. Homes are let to applicants based on need and the length of time they have been waiting for a new home.

The National Fraud Initiative

Housing Solutions Group has volunteered to take part in a National Fraud Initiative which aims to prevent and detect fraud in social housing.

 This initiative is being run by the Audit Commission and aims to identify members of the public who may be fraudulently renting more than one housing association or council property. The exercise will involve The Audit Commission matching the ifnromation we hold about our residents with that of other housing providers' records.
 
The sharing of this information is allowed within the provisions of the Audit Commission Act 1998, and the terms of the Data Protection Act 1998.  
 
You do not need to do anything - we will only contact you if  the Audit Commission findings suggest that we need to check some information about you.
