Zoe Brinkworth has been appointed Maidenhead and District Housing Association’s first Anti-social Behaviour Officer.
The new post has been created to provide more resources to deal with the growing problem of anti-social behaviour, as well as tackle the root causes.
Previously the Association’s Area Housing Officers were responsible for dealing with anti-social behaviour problems as part of their neighbourhood management role.
Mike Fenner, Assistant Director - Housing Services said: “We operate a zero tolerance policy towards anti-social behaviour.
“As well as the increasing workload we face dealing with nuisance we need to work on tackling the root cause, so that we can reduce anti-social behaviour problems on our estates. This new post is designed to achieve this,” he said.
Zoe, has been a Area Housing Officer with the Association for three years.
She will be working closely with agencies such as the Police, Social Services and Education, as well as residents’ groups to tackle anti-social behaviour.
