Directors of Maidenhead and District Housing Association are taking to the streets of Cox Green next week in a bid to talk to tenants about their local problems.
This is the first in a series of informal Directors’ Walkabouts planned by the Association to identify tenants’ issues or concerns with their local area. John Petitt, Chief Executive of the Association will be joined by three other Directors on the walkabout. And they want their tenants in Cox Green to join them and highlight any local issues.
“This is an opportunity for tenants to show us their local problems and discuss what we can do to help solve them,” said John Petitt.
“In our latest Tenant Survey more than three quarters of tenants said they were happy with their neighbourhood. But levels of satisfaction have fallen in the last few years with tenants reporting increasing levels of local problems in some areas. We want to see these problems for ourselves and discuss them directly with our tenants.”
The Directors will be meeting at 10 am on Thursday 16 February 2006 at the Wessex Way shops in Cox Green. If you require any further information then please call 01628 543103.
