The Housing Solutions Group of companies has received the Investor in People award for the third time.

The Group, which includes Maidenhead and District Housing Association, first received the award in 2000.

The Investor in People (IIP) standard is awarded to companies recognised as being fully committed to developing staff in order to meet the goals of the business. The IIP Assessor’s report on the Group said that it was very strong on involving staff and encouraging their ideas.

The report, which identified improved performance through training and development said that the Group had:

• an open and friendly culture
• good internal communication
• a strong staff commitment towards customer service
• a strong induction process
• supportive managers

John Petitt, Group Chief Executive, said: “It is very pleasing to receive such a positive endorsement from an external assessor and staff can be proud of this achievement.

“Our tenants can be sure that our skilled staff are able to achieve our objectives and are motivated to provide high levels of service,” he added.
