The size and scope of our development programme continues to grow and our homes are now spread across five counties. The Group works in partnership with private developers, local authorities, NHS Trusts and care organisations to build developments designed to meet our customers needs and create sustainable communities.
We have recently won a contract to redevelop 23 residential care home sites in Buckinghamshire. Over the next five years Housing Solutions will build new care homes for the elderly as well as new self contained flats and shared houses for people with learning disabilities, alongside new affordable housing on the sites.
The redevelopment programme, known as Project Care, is in partnership with Buckinghamshire County Council and The Fremantle Trust. It is designed to substantially improve the quality of accommodation for elderly people and people with learning disabilities, as well as meet future legislation on care standards.
