We have won the National Housing Maintenance Forums's Award for the Most Innovative Direct Labour Organisation. This is the second year running that we have won one of these prestige national awards which recognise best practice in the maintenance of social housing. Last year we won the award for the organisation best at meeting residents’ needs.
Chief Executive, John Petitt said: “This is a fantastic achievement. Congratulations to Asset Management and to everyone else who has made a contribution to our maintenance service. This demonstrates to the housing industry that we have a top notch responsive repairs service that we should all be proud of.”
We won the award last year for the radical overhaul of our repairs service in response to customers needs.
This year’s award winning submission was based on the way we have delivered and developed the service, introducing new initiatives such as the Home MOT and the Handyman Service, as well as achieving cost efficiencies and very high levels of customer satisfaction.
